About Kanika

My name is Kanika, owner and solo artist at Happy duckling tattoo in Rotorua, Aotearoa New Zealand.

 

My love for art started way back when I was a little duckling in Thailand. Many years later, I awkwardly started my tattooing journey during the pandemic by tattooing myself and loved ones in my humble little rental in Kirikiriroa Hamilton. To my surprise, things took off and clients started coming in for ink.

Since then, I have been developing my skills and knowledge about the industry and health & safety, to ensure the best tattoo result and high standard practice.

I am grateful to have always been supported and encouraged from my loved ones and clients I get to meet along the way. My goal here is to offer top quality tattoos in a comfortable, safe and accepting environment.

I love all beings and have great respect for nature, all products used in the studio is 100% vegan and cruelty free.
